Covid-19 Safe Practices

Working alongside Government advise with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak, LC Autocare LTD is taking the spread of Coronavirus across the United Kingdom very seriously.

We are monitoring the situation and taking guidance from the Government, PHE, the NHS and the WHO. Our priority is the health and well-being of our colleagues and customers.

We are currently open, while continuing to follow the Government approach of keeping normal everyday operations going wherever possible. We are taking all the precautions we can to help prevent the spread of the virus. We ask that all our customers wear a face covering when entering our premises, unless they are exempt.

Contact & Social Distancing

We are always being extra vigilant on personal space and exercising social distancing. We always ask that all customers maintain a safe 2-meter distance.

You’ll be sent quotations and invoices by email which we would appreciate you accept to minimise contact. We are still accepting cash; however, we would appreciate if you could do a bank transfer prior to collecting your vehicle. We will also have the option to pay by card, where you will be asked to sanitise your hands before and after use of our machine.

If Extra Care is Required

If you’d prefer to minimise your time/ contact with us, then please follow the steps below:

  • On arrival notify reception then return and remain in your vehicle.

  • If you do not wish to enter the premises phone/ beep from your car to advise you have arrived and remain in your vehicle.

  • A member of staff will attend to you and discuss your requirements.

  • At which point you can either leave the vehicle with us and return when the work is completed or wait outside the premises. In some instances, depending on what work needs to be undertaken we will be happy for you to remain in the car.

  • We will send you a video of any work that is required so you don't need to spend time in the workshop with us.

 

Cleaning and Hygiene

  • We clean all our touch points regularly

  • We spray the inside of your vehicle with touch spray upon entry and exit

  • We always wear masks inside your vehicle  

  • We ask you to leave your windows open upon drop off or awaiting collection to allow ventilation inside the vehicle prior to us entering.

  • We ask you to allow easy access for our technicians, making sure the boot is clear, lock in wheel nuts are left on the passenger seat along with service books and car history.

  • Our technicians will wear gloves where it is practically possible and ensure these are changed and hands washed when working on different vehicles to avoid cross contamination.

  • We have also undertaken covid prevention training - see CERTIFICATION.
