VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING

Why a full air conditioning check is important?

No car air conditioning system is 100% foolproof all the time. Small leaks can develop in worn-out seals; leaks that aren't large enough to completely deplete your system right away, but which could do so over the long summer months. The only way to tell if your air conditioning is running well is to do a full system check, which includes air conditioning recharge or air conditioning regas.

An air conditioning recharge not only refills the refrigerant gas to the manufacturer's recommended level, but also replenishes the systems essential lubricating oil, ensuring that the air conditioning compressor and other components are maintained in good working order.

A car air conditioning recharge will help your vehicle to run more efficiently. This will take the strain off the engine and prolong the life of your vehicle.

When should I get my air conditioning system recharged?

We recommend having your air conditioning system recharged every two years.

If you believe there could be a problem with your air conditioning, then having it checked as soon as possible will help to avoid bigger problems.

If the gas pressure decreases then the system will lack efficiency, which means your engine will have to work harder. This in turn leads to an increase in fuel consumption.

Our mechanics are fully trained in all air conditioning systems. They will be able to advise you and show you how it should be working.

Both R134a & R1234yf gases are available.
